The brand was founded in 1879 in Cantù by the Tagliabue family, and right away started offering high quality products. The company was dedicated to producing custom-made furniture and making multi-layered panels for the aeronautical industry.

Working side by side with famous architects, Emmemobili managed to build a solid company that won the prestigious Triennale Design Award in 1930.
