1923, THE BIRTH OF THE COMPANY. – calligaris

Antonio Calligaris starts his small artisanal business by producing the “Marocca” chair, typical model of the Manzano area in Friuli.

In 90 years, we have seen many changes at the brand, indeed, we ourselves have promoted change. We did so by designing and creating furniture and furnishing accessories ready to enter the most diverse of homes and find their place there, harmonizing with different styles, resulting in unique environments, as, deep down, all homes are.

We can experiment, change and innovate because we know who we are and what our brand represents for those who choose it: a guarantee of quality and creativity at an accessible price, design that is contemporary, flexible, and intelligent.

The current physiognomy of Calligaris is born from the union between its artisanal tradition, synonymous with quality, care and Italian style and the industrialization that has made it a leader in the furniture industry. To date the Calligaris Group has 600 employees, operating subsidiaries in the United States, Japan, Russia and France and five manufacturing plants, including one in Croatia. It distributes its products with over 800 catalogue products in 90 countries worldwide.
